They’re not blood-related as Mizuki’s mom took him in after the airplane crash where he lost both his parents. Mizuki is Sora’s imouto, and unlike the brocon-type imoutos you find at your local eroges, she always throws 下ネタ to her onii-chan and can basically banter for hours with only dirty jokes being their topic, lol. Being even more frank, they feel like additional/bonus routes, lol.

Half of the individual routes also feel like either joke routes or stink of escapism(Mizuki’s was especially one of the worst routes in a VN I’ve ever read this year). The common route manages to build the base relationship between characters and it’s all cool and stuff until you reach the individual routes where they rush the romance between protagonist and the heroines, safe for the true route I guess because Kaguya and protag’s chemistry just works wonders and is easily the best inside the game. Although unfortunately, this really causes a downfall… in the romance. Although this would make Mirai Radio fall as being shorter in terms of length than most other VNs, at least you wouldn’t get bored if you manage to get invested in the story and characters. What I also appreciate from this game is how there’s no pointless scene at all – no shitty SOL scenes because every scene matters in the story. Though this much of effort is imho enough already for a visual novel – at least they tried – and I managed to enjoy some of them in general. Although sometimes it’d sound too convenient to be true just so that our protagonist’s problems can be solved – yes, yet again a flaw in the writing.
#GENERAL THOUGHTS RADIO PLUS#
The game also uses many technical aspects, explanations and all, which is unusual in a visual novel, and that’s a plus point. They have already established a cool setting, great characters that don’t rely on tropes and all have their own unique aspect, great plot premise… but sadly couldn’t do them justice, as the game suffers greatly in its writing. Sounds like a cool build-up, and I still think it does! The problem doesn’t lie there though – it’s more to the writing and developments in general. The setting is in a future where electromagnetic wave is eaten by the artifical pigeons – means there’s no internet, communication device, television, and such. This is my first Laplacian game as I haven’t tried out Newton yet, I’ve noticed them for quite a while now for having interesting and original concept for their games, though Mirai Radio… didn’t really come out to be so “original” in the end, unfortunately. But suddenly, at the same time he also started receiving mysterious broadcasts from the “future”…

With this, he created a “radio” with the tools his father left behind and started his radio broadcast. He is also an airplane crash survivor in which he lost both his parents at – in which it was also the day when artificial pigeons started to devour waves, and he dreams of destroying the them in order to attain back the old world before they appeared and ruined a lot of people’s lives. Summary: Enter Sora, the technician protagonist, in a future where radio wave no longer exists because the “artificial pigeon” devours them.

Length/Estimated Time of Playing: 10~15 Hours Title: 未来ラジオと人工鳩(Mirai Radio to Jinkou-bato) I’ve been too busy only playing mobages beside uni stuffs instead of reading VNs, whoops… hopefully that’ll change next year, lol. First of all, merry christmas & advanced happy new year! At least I can drop in a blog post before the year changes… phew.
